I'd firstly like to congratulate Tiwa on her sold out headlined tour! She has been waving the flag women in afrobeats for as long as I can remember and this show was a testament to her excellence.
Now let's break down the show...
I attended the London tour date at the indigO2 and from previous performances I already knew Tiwa was coming to slay in some of the most extravagant outfits accompanied by the most flawless hair & make up and she delivered!
Supported on stage by some of the best afrobeat dancers London has to offer, Tiwa put on a great show. I especially appreciate the moment where she simmered down the concert and showed off her vocal range *(as you get to know me more you will know that i'm a huge fan of vocals).
We were also treated to an array of special guests: Awilo, Korede Bello, Don Jazzy, Wstrn & Dr SID whom complimented the show; featuring with Tiwa on tracks like "LoveStruck", "Eminado", "Woju" & "Romantic". Overall it was a great night and I would definitely go and see Tiwa live again.
My Rating: 4/5
