You know when someone repeatedly ask's you to go somewhere with them because "iT's HAlF pRicE" and you agree nonchanlantly - to get them off your back.. Well It turns out that I "agreed" to climb the O2 ARENA!!!

"Up at The O2 is an exhilarating 90 minute expedition over the roof of The O2, the walkway is 52m above ground level and 380m long."

^^

I just wanted to let you guys know the length's and height's I was dealing with today before I start my review - just incase you may think that I am "exagerrating".

Taking the first steps, I knew immediately that I underestimated the steepness of this climb. It got real, real quick.

D I S C L A I M E R - Please keep in mind that I am a bit of a scaredy cat in general. To me, I might aswell had be climbing Mount Everest because that is how it felt.

Whilst climbing I definitely had thoughts of pure regret but there were also moments of awe and a feeling of accomplishment. Once you get to the top the climb it was definitely worth it; you are surrounded by a 360° view of the city and it is truly remarkable sight to see.

Our leader was amazing, she was engaging, encouraging and kept a calm demenour throughout the climb. At the beginning she was asking for everyone's name and I was the only one who asked for her name because Lord know's I was about to call her for help throughout the whole climb.

Was it worth it?

Let's just say it was one of those "once in a lifetime" experiences and on that note yes it was worth it. I paid £15 for my ticket because "iT WaS HAlF pRicE" and at this price I think it was worth it. On a normal day it is £30 per person... yhhhh I would recommend going when it's on offer.
